I’m going to be honest writing a blog post about my favorite chrome extension was not on the to-do list. It did not make it onto the content calendar. And it’s not something anyone asked for! But when I was a junior in high school I was prepping for the SATs and ACTs and was learning ALL the vocabulary words. You know, the words we never ever use in real life but for some reason we were going to be tested on them. My college admissions guidance counselor person recommended I install the extension “Magoosh.” What that does is every time you open a new tab on your computer it has a new vocab word for you to learn. It looks like this:

You can listen to the pronunciation of the word, will be given the part of speech, the definition, and an example sentence. I haven’t taken a standardized test in about 6 years, but I still have this extension on my computer. I love the easy bite sized learning, and if I’m not in the mood I just won’t read it.
Today’s word was “torpor” which means “inactivity resulting from lethargy” and if that doesn’t just define 2020 I don’t know what does.
Do you have a favorite app or extension that you love to use?
